Christmas DIY: Hot Chocolate Bar!

Having a cute little get together? Looking for a family tradition? Or are you an avid hot chocolate drinker? Either way - a hot chocolate bar is perfect for those winter nights.

I'm the type of person that enjoys hot chocolate on special occasions  Give me a swiss miss packet and I am completely fine just microwaving it. But this takes hot chocolate to the next level.

I've been seeing the idea of a hot chocolate bar around the internet for a few months now. I told my family about it and they loved the idea! So I decided to make one of my own, and thought I would share it with everyone.

To the left, you will see my hot chocolate bar. I made mine really simple, and easy to access without making a complete mess. Hot chocolate mix and mini marshmallows in mason jars, with candy canes to use as stirrers in a polar express mug. All on a lazy susan wrapped with santa hat ribbon! Some things such as whipped cream need to be refrigerated but that's available as well. You can decorate it creatively and add any other hot chocolate add-ins! I am planning to leave it out all winter. So that's my version of the hot chocolate bar. Perhaps it's a tad amateurish, but I adore it! Here are some other hot chocolate bars from pinterest:
